Kuldeep Sehrawat, India Marketing Head, Wipro

Wipro has appointed Kuldeep Sehrawat as Director and Head of Marketing for its India business, marking his move from IBM, where he held several marketing leadership positions across India and South Asia.

Sehrawat announced his new role through a LinkedIn post. He brings more than 17 years of experience spanning enterprise technology marketing, business-to-business (B2B) marketing, brand management, demand generation and partner ecosystem development.

Before joining Wipro, Sehrawat served as Head of Marketing, Growth and Ecosystem (Channel), for IBM India and South Asia. He spent more than eight years with the technology company, working across marketing functions focused on business growth, customer engagement and partner-led initiatives.

At IBM, his responsibilities included supporting pipeline development, revenue growth and market expansion through integrated marketing campaigns and collaboration with channel partners.

His work also covered ecosystem marketing, performance marketing, digital campaigns, paid media, content development and events. These initiatives involved aligning marketing activities with business objectives and supporting customer acquisition across enterprise technology segments.

Announcing the appointment, Sehrawat said he looked forward to contributing to Wipro's vision and working with its teams to strengthen market presence, customer engagement and business growth.

His professional experience also includes leadership responsibilities at Times Internet, where he served as National Head of ET CIO and ET Edge IT and Fintech Industry CXO Programmes.

The role involved working with technology industry stakeholders and senior business executives through industry programmes and engagement initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Sehrawat worked with Wizcraft International Entertainment, Cheil India, Showcraft Marketing Services and Solutions-Digitas Integrated Marketing Services.

During his tenure at Cheil India, he worked on marketing initiatives for Samsung India's enterprise business. His responsibilities included brand activation, integrated campaigns, product launches, trade shows, partner programmes and marketing activities across multiple cities.

His experience across these organisations includes a combination of enterprise marketing, event-led engagement, strategic partnerships and integrated communication programmes.

At Wipro, Sehrawat takes on the India marketing leadership position as technology services companies continue to engage enterprise customers around digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies and business modernisation.

The appointment brings experience in channel marketing and ecosystem development into Wipro's India marketing function, alongside capabilities in brand positioning, demand generation and customer engagement.

His background also spans marketing programmes designed for enterprise decision-makers, including campaigns involving technology partners, industry stakeholders and business leaders.

The company has not publicly disclosed detailed performance targets, reporting arrangements or specific marketing initiatives associated with the appointment.

Sehrawat's move follows his extended tenure at IBM and adds to recent leadership developments across India's enterprise technology marketing sector.
