Consint.AI Secures Rs 22 Crore

Deeptech startup Consint.AI has raised Rs 22 crore in a Series A funding round as it looks to expand its artificial intelligence-powered fraud detection, claims processing and risk management technology across healthcare, insurance and financial services.

The funding round was backed by BIG Global Investment JSC, Equanimity Ventures Trust II and Seafund Venture India Scheme I. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its presence across India and international markets while strengthening its AI research and enterprise delivery capabilities.

Founded by Ashish Chaturvedi, Consint.AI develops AI-powered platforms for healthcare providers, insurers and other enterprises. Its technology uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and large language models to automate workflows involving fraud detection, claims processing, document analysis and clinical intelligence.

The company plans to expand across the Middle East, Africa, the United States and Southeast Asia in addition to strengthening its presence in India.

A portion of the funding will also be directed towards developing a foundational AI model designed to identify fraud, waste and abuse across healthcare, insurance, banking and financial services. The company expects the model to support insurers, healthcare providers and government health programmes in identifying suspicious transactions and improving compliance.

Consint.AI currently offers products including Risk AI for fraud risk management, DocInsight AI for document digitisation, CIPHR AI for patient health journeys and AutoClaim AI for claims processing.

Risk AI is designed to identify potentially fraudulent activity and support claims adjudication, while AutoClaim AI combines artificial intelligence with rule-based systems to assess insurance claims using information including policy coverage, clinical data and coding standards.

The company said its platform has assessed more than 100 million transactions and identified over Rs 1,000 crore worth of fraud. These figures are based on company disclosures. Its technology stack includes more than 500 AI and machine learning models, fine-tuned large language models and over 500 digitised clinical protocols.

The Series A follows an earlier Rs 5 crore seed funding round led by Equanimity Ventures and Seafund. At the time, Consint.AI said the capital would be used to expand sales, strengthen research and development and accelerate its Generative AI Feature Suite for its Health AI Platform.

The latest investment comes as insurers and healthcare organisations increase the use of AI to automate data-intensive processes such as claims assessment, document processing, fraud detection and clinical review.

For insurers, fraud detection remains one area where AI systems can be deployed to analyse large volumes of claims data and identify anomalies for further investigation. Healthcare organisations are similarly exploring AI-based tools to structure clinical information and automate administrative processes.

However, the use of AI across healthcare and financial services also places emphasis on areas such as accuracy, data security, regulatory compliance and human oversight, particularly where automated systems contribute to decisions involving claims or clinical information.

Consint.AI is positioning its technology around these enterprise workflows rather than consumer-facing AI applications. Its expansion into banking and financial services also broadens the company's focus beyond its healthcare and insurance origins.

With the Series A capital, Consint.AI plans to scale its technology across international markets while continuing development of AI models for fraud detection and enterprise risk management.
