Accenture and Google Cloud Launch Agentic AI Platform

Accenture and Google Cloud have introduced a new suite of agentic artificial intelligence solutions aimed at helping mid-market companies move AI initiatives from experimentation to large-scale deployment. The offering combines Accenture's newly launched Accenture Edge business with Google Cloud's AI technologies to address a growing segment of enterprises seeking faster and more cost-effective AI adoption.

The collaboration targets organisations with annual revenues between USD 300 million and USD 3 billion, a market segment that often lacks the resources to build and scale enterprise-grade AI programmes independently. According to the two companies, the new platform is designed to provide pre-built, industry-specific AI solutions that can be deployed within weeks rather than months.

The announcement comes as enterprises increasingly shift their focus from AI pilots to production deployments. While AI adoption has accelerated across industries, many mid-market organisations continue to face challenges around technical expertise, governance, infrastructure and return on investment. Industry estimates cited by the companies indicate that although 73 per cent of mid-market businesses have deployed AI solutions, nearly 90 per cent remain stuck in pilot stages without achieving enterprise-wide implementation.

The new offering is built on Google Cloud's AI portfolio, including Gemini Enterprise, the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agentic Data Cloud and Google AI Threat Defense. These technologies are combined with Accenture's forward deployed engineers and industry consulting expertise to help customers implement agentic AI across business functions while maintaining security and governance.

The companies have introduced six solution areas tailored to common enterprise requirements. These include customer intelligence and personalised marketing, customer experience automation, cybersecurity, AI-driven business operations, industry-specific AI applications and workforce productivity. The platform is intended to help organisations automate repetitive workflows, improve decision making and accelerate business transformation using AI agents that can perform complex tasks with minimal manual intervention.

For marketing teams, the customer intelligence capabilities combine AI agents with enterprise data to generate personalised customer insights, optimise campaigns and improve engagement strategies. The customer experience solution uses Gemini Enterprise to enhance both business-to-business and business-to-consumer interactions, while workforce enablement integrates Google Workspace with Gemini to improve employee productivity and collaboration.

Cybersecurity is another focus area of the partnership. Google AI Threat Defense, which incorporates Gemini, Mandiant and Wiz technologies, provides continuous monitoring, automated threat analysis and prioritised incident response. The companies said the objective is to help businesses strengthen security while expanding AI adoption across critical business functions.

The launch also strengthens Accenture's broader AI strategy. Earlier this year, the company expanded its partnership with Google Cloud through the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program, aimed at helping large enterprises deploy specialised AI agents at scale. The latest initiative extends those capabilities to mid-market organisations by offering packaged solutions tailored to their operational and budget requirements.

Industry analysts note that the partnership reflects a broader trend in enterprise AI, where technology providers are increasingly offering pre-configured AI platforms rather than custom-built deployments. As businesses seek measurable outcomes from AI investments, solution providers are focusing on reducing implementation complexity and shortening the path from proof of concept to production.
