Bengaluru-based enterprise AI startup Ringg AI has raised $10 million in an extension to its Series A funding round, as the company looks to expand its AI agents beyond voice calls and automate more complex customer-facing business workflows.
The latest investment was led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from existing investors Arkam Ventures and Capital 2B. Ringg had previously raised $5.5 million in its Series A earlier this year, taking the total size of the round to $15.5 million.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its enterprise AI platform and expand its voice, WhatsApp and browser-based agents. It will also increase investment in proprietary AI models and its context graph, while accelerating its enterprise go-to-market efforts in India and international markets.
Founded in 2023 by Siddharth Shankar Tripathi, Utkarsh Shukla and Kali Charan Vemuru, Ringg develops AI agents designed to manage customer conversations while completing tasks across enterprise systems. Its customers include Policybazaar, CRED, Flipkart, Groww and Practo, with deployments spanning sectors such as financial services, healthcare and e-commerce.
Ringg currently processes around 20 million call attempts every month, with voice accounting for more than 70% of its business. The company is now expanding into other channels, including WhatsApp, chat and browser-based workflows, as it seeks to position itself as a broader enterprise AI agent platform rather than solely a voice automation provider.
Its technology is being used for workflows including customer support, lead qualification, collections, onboarding, appointment booking and KYC processes. For healthcare platform Practo, Ringg's voice agent operates across around 1,200 clinics to assist patients with appointment bookings and post-visit interactions.
The platform is also designed for enterprise environments where AI agents need to manage challenges such as noisy calls, multilingual conversations, asynchronous WhatsApp interactions, browser workflows involving multiple applications and regulated data. Ringg supports in-region deployments across India, the GCC, the US and Europe, along with on-premise deployments.
Ringg initially started as text-to-speech startup DesiVocal before shifting towards building enterprise voice AI agents. The company now develops some of its own speech recognition and generation models while also operating an orchestration layer that can route tasks to different models depending on the use case.
The funding comes as enterprise interest in voice AI expands beyond basic call automation towards agents capable of completing business processes across multiple channels. For Ringg, the additional capital will support its effort to move further into these outcome-based enterprise workflows while expanding its presence beyond India.
