Indian artificial intelligence company Sarvam has appointed Disha Sanghvi to lead its brand and communications function, strengthening its marketing leadership as the company expands its AI products and enterprise presence.
Sanghvi joins Sarvam from fintech platform ZET, where she served as General Manager and Head of Marketing Communications. Her appointment brings experience across brand building, communications, public relations and content strategy to Sarvam as the company works to build greater visibility around its AI technology and products.
At ZET, Sanghvi led marketing communications for the financial services platform, with her work spanning brand strategy, consumer communication and content-led initiatives. Before ZET, she held brand and communications roles at companies including Onsurity, where she worked on communications and public relations.
Her professional background also includes journalism, giving her experience across both editorial and corporate communications. Sanghvi is an alumna of the Asian College of Journalism.
At Sarvam, her mandate will centre on brand and communications as the Bengaluru-based company continues to develop artificial intelligence models and applications designed for Indian users, enterprises and institutions. The company has been building across multiple layers of the AI ecosystem, including models, voice technologies and enterprise applications.
The appointment comes as Sarvam expands the visibility of its technology and products in India's growing generative AI market. The company has positioned its technology around India's linguistic diversity and enterprise requirements, with a focus on developing AI systems that can operate across Indian languages and use cases.
Sarvam has also been expanding its product portfolio beyond foundational models. Its offerings and initiatives span conversational AI, voice capabilities and tools intended to help organisations deploy artificial intelligence across business functions.
As Indian AI companies move from model development towards wider enterprise and consumer adoption, brand communication is becoming an increasingly important part of how technology companies explain products, use cases and differentiation to businesses and users.
For Sarvam, the appointment adds dedicated leadership to its brand and communications function at a time when the company is scaling its presence across India's AI ecosystem. Sanghvi's role will involve shaping how the company communicates its technology, products and broader positioning as it enters its next phase of growth.
