Marc Dicko, CDMO

L'Oréal has appointed Marc Dicko as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer for its South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa, or SAPMENA, region, strengthening its leadership team as the beauty company expands its digital, eCommerce and marketing operations across the region.

The appointment took effect on September 1, 2026. Based in Singapore, Dicko will report to Vismay Sharma, President of L'Oréal SAPMENA, and oversee the company's digital, eCommerce and marketing strategy across more than 35 markets.

Dicko has spent 15 years with L'Oréal and has held digital, eCommerce and leadership roles across the company's Global Division, North Asia, Canada and SAPMENA businesses.

Prior to the latest appointment, he served as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer for L'Oréal Canada. In that role, his responsibilities included expanding the company's direct-to-consumer channels, strengthening its position across indirect eCommerce and integrating artificial intelligence into business operations and consumer journeys.

His appointment also brings a leadership transition at L'Oréal SAPMENA. Dicko succeeds Lex Bradshaw-Zanger, who has led the company's regional digital, marketing and eCommerce operations since 2023.

During his tenure, Bradshaw-Zanger was involved in expanding L'Oréal's eCommerce business across the region and led the Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program, an initiative focused on identifying and working with startups developing technologies for the beauty industry.

Bradshaw-Zanger will now move into a newly created position focused on transforming L'Oréal SAPMENA's regional capabilities across marketing and commercial services. His new mandate will include emerging technologies, data and analytics, and artificial intelligence as the company looks to strengthen these capabilities across its regional operations.

The SAPMENA zone was established by L'Oréal in 2021 and covers 35 markets through 13 entities. The region stretches from New Zealand to Morocco and represents a potential consumer base of more than three billion people.

The leadership change comes as L'Oréal continues to integrate digital commerce, data and emerging technologies into its marketing operations. Artificial intelligence has also become an increasing part of the company's digital strategy, spanning consumer experiences and internal business processes.

For Dicko, the regional role expands his responsibilities from the Canadian market to one of L'Oréal's most geographically diverse operating zones. His mandate will bring digital strategy, marketing and eCommerce under his leadership as the company continues to develop its consumer engagement capabilities across SAPMENA.
