Adobe X ChatGPT

Adobe is bringing customer experience intelligence and creative workflows directly into ChatGPT, allowing marketing teams to access Adobe applications without moving between multiple platforms.

Unveiled at OpenAI DevDay, the integration introduces Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator and Adobe Express capabilities inside ChatGPT. The move is designed to bring customer data, marketing insights and content creation closer to the conversational interfaces increasingly being used by enterprise teams.

Through the integration, marketers can interact with Adobe Experience Platform data using natural-language prompts in ChatGPT. Instead of navigating dashboards or manually assembling reports, users can ask questions about customer behaviour, campaign performance and audience trends and receive insights based on information available through Adobe's customer experience technology.

Adobe's Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator acts as the intelligence layer connecting specialised AI agents with enterprise data and workflows. The system is designed to coordinate agents across different marketing functions while maintaining access controls and governance around company information.

The integration could allow a marketer, for example, to ask ChatGPT to analyse campaign performance or identify customer segments showing particular behaviours. The workflow can then move from analysis towards content creation, with Adobe Express providing creative capabilities within the same conversational environment.

Adobe Express inside ChatGPT is intended to help users create and edit marketing assets through natural-language instructions. This brings creative production closer to customer and campaign intelligence rather than requiring marketers to switch between separate analytics and design tools.

The announcement builds on Adobe's wider push into agentic artificial intelligence across its customer experience portfolio. Adobe has been developing AI agents for functions including audience optimisation, content production and customer journey management, while positioning Agent Orchestrator as a way for enterprises to coordinate these systems.

For OpenAI, the Adobe integration reflects a broader effort to make ChatGPT an interface through which users can work with third-party business applications. OpenAI has been expanding the ability for developers and enterprises to connect services and data to ChatGPT, enabling users to carry out tasks without leaving the conversation.

The Adobe integration also points to a shift in enterprise AI from standalone assistants towards systems connected to existing customer data and business applications. For marketing teams, the development brings customer intelligence, analysis and creative execution into a common conversational workflow, while the underlying Adobe systems continue to manage enterprise data and associated controls.
