IDC Technologies has elevated Vishal Mishra to Head of Growth and Chief AI Officer, expanding his mandate to combine artificial intelligence leadership with the company’s broader growth strategy across markets, partnerships and client engagements.
In the expanded role, Mishra will lead IDC Technologies’ AI-led growth strategy, with responsibilities spanning new client acquisition, strategic accounts, partnerships and emerging markets. He will also work on integrating AI across the company’s sales, solutions, propositions and transformation engagements.
The appointment extends Mishra’s existing responsibilities at IDC Technologies, where he has been serving as Chief AI Officer in Dubai since April 2026. In that role, he leads the company’s Data, Analytics and AI practice across the Middle East, with a focus on enterprise AI transformation, intelligent automation and scaling AI adoption.
As part of his additional growth mandate, Mishra will be responsible for shaping and commercialising the company’s AI, Data and Digital propositions. He will also lead technology partnerships and joint go-to-market initiatives with hyperscalers and other ecosystem partners.
His responsibilities will include embedding AI into client acquisition and account expansion while working with sales and delivery teams to translate strategic opportunities into business pipeline and revenue. Mishra will also advise senior executives on areas including AI transformation, agentic AI, data strategy and enterprise AI adoption.
The expanded position brings the technology and commercial sides of the company’s AI strategy under a broader leadership mandate, as IDC Technologies looks to connect its AI capabilities with customer acquisition, partnerships and market expansion.
Mishra’s work has centred on enterprise AI and the deployment of AI systems beyond proof-of-concept stages. His areas of experience include generative AI, agentic AI, AI governance, sovereign AI infrastructure and enterprise-scale AI platforms.
Before his current stint at IDC Technologies, Mishra worked on AI engineering initiatives at Inception, part of Abu Dhabi-based technology group G42, with a focus on sovereign and enterprise AI systems. Earlier in his career, he also held technology and engineering roles across organisations including Accenture and Emirates.
The expanded appointment comes as technology services companies increasingly look to connect AI capabilities with commercial strategy and enterprise transformation programmes. At IDC Technologies, Mishra’s combined remit will place AI across both technology development and growth initiatives, including partnerships, client engagements and go-to-market activities.
