Mundra joins Dreamstreet after a four-year stint at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, where he held senior marketing and media leadership roles
Varun Mundra has joined Dreamstreet as Head of Marketing & Growth, marking his move after a nearly four-year stint at Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
In his new role, Mundra will lead marketing and growth for Dreamstreet, bringing experience across brand building, media, digital marketing, innovation and growth strategy.
Mundra joined Motilal Oswal Financial Services in May 2022 as Vice President and Head of Marketing. He subsequently moved up the ranks at the financial services company, serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing before being elevated to Group Head, Media & Innovations in March 2025.
During his time at Motilal Oswal, Mundra worked across brand transformation, media and marketing innovation. He was also involved in the company's brand identity revamp and in building its in-house marketing capabilities.
His work at the company also extended into the use of artificial intelligence in marketing. Mundra has previously spoken about deploying AI-generated content for regional social media initiatives across multiple Indian languages, alongside the use of technology across research and customer-facing marketing initiatives.
Before moving to the brand side, Mundra spent several years across India's advertising and digital agency ecosystem. His previous organisations include The Glitch, White Rivers Media, Isobar and Dentsu Webchutney.
At The Glitch, he served as Director of Business & Client Relations before joining Motilal Oswal. Across his agency career, he worked with brands including Netflix, Visa, Tata Motors and Hindustan Unilever, among others.
Mundra has over 14 years of experience spanning brand strategy, digital marketing, media, client relationships and business growth. His career has increasingly brought together brand and performance marketing, with a focus on connecting marketing investments with measurable business outcomes.
The move to Dreamstreet puts Mundra in a broader marketing and growth mandate, as brands increasingly look to integrate brand building, performance, technology, data and AI within a unified growth function.
