Kyndryl and Bridgepath Innovations have announced a collaboration to help enterprises design, build, operate and scale AI-native Global Capability Centres, or GCCs, as companies look to embed artificial intelligence more deeply into their global operations.
Announced in Bengaluru, the partnership will focus on integrating AI into the core of GCC delivery, operations and governance rather than deploying it as a standalone technology layer. The companies said the approach is intended to help enterprises improve speed, efficiency and scalability across their global delivery models.
Under the collaboration, Kyndryl and Bridgepath will offer a structured AI-native GCC operating model. It will focus on establishing digital and data foundations, defining service structures, incorporating AI into decision-making and developing internal capabilities that allow organisations to evolve their GCC operations over time.
The companies are positioning the model around improvements in productivity, project execution and the utilisation of talent across global teams. The partnership comes as GCCs increasingly move beyond their traditional role as centres for cost optimisation and operational support towards technology, innovation and business capability hubs.
Kyndryl will bring its enterprise technology and mission-critical infrastructure experience to the partnership, including capabilities in AI-led automation. Bridgepath, a consulting and advisory firm focused on GCCs, will contribute expertise across the evaluation, design, establishment, operation and transformation of global capability centres.
Prashobh Chandralayam, Vice President and Global Leader, GCC at Kyndryl, said enterprises are reassessing traditional GCC models as labour-arbitrage-led approaches reach their limits and AI changes how global delivery operations are designed. He said the partnership would combine Kyndryl's technology capabilities with Bridgepath's domain expertise to support customers moving towards AI-native GCCs.
Ramaswamy Narayanan, CEO of Bridgepath Innovations, said GCCs are moving towards models where AI is embedded directly into how work is designed, delivered and governed, rather than being added incrementally.
The two companies will use a co-creation approach with customers, developing AI solutions based on individual enterprise systems, data environments and business objectives. The model is intended to allow organisations to integrate AI into business processes while retaining flexibility and governance.
The partnership adds to Kyndryl's wider push around AI-led enterprise transformation. Earlier in August, the company introduced Agentic Modernization services-as-software through Kyndryl Bridge, its AI-powered digital business platform, to help enterprises deploy and govern agentic workflows across their technology environments.
The Kyndryl-Bridgepath collaboration reflects the growing focus on GCCs as strategic centres for AI deployment, digital transformation and enterprise capability development, particularly as organisations examine how AI can be integrated into operating models at scale.
