Logistics services platform Porter has elevated Mohit Rathi to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as part of a series of senior leadership changes aimed at strengthening its marketing, technology and financial operations.
The company has also appointed Gaurav Jain as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and promoted Shubham Gupta to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The appointments come as Porter continues to expand its operations and develop services across its logistics business.
Rathi, who has been associated with Porter for more than a decade, will now oversee the company's marketing and growth functions. His elevation follows his tenure as Vice President, Customer Growth and Engagement, a position he held since 2023.
During his time in that role, Rathi worked across customer insights, retention strategies, rewards programmes and go-to-market planning for newer services. His responsibilities also included initiatives associated with Porter Enterprise, the company's offering for business customers.
Rathi began his journey with Porter as an expansion manager and played a role in establishing the company's operations in Hyderabad and Chennai. Over the years, he has held responsibilities across business expansion, customer engagement and growth strategy.
In his new position, Rathi will lead the company's marketing activities and growth initiatives, drawing on his experience in customer acquisition, retention and business development.
Alongside Rathi's elevation, Porter has appointed Gaurav Jain as CFO. Jain joins the company from Amazon, where he spent more than a decade.
With over 20 years of experience across finance and strategy, Jain has worked in the e-commerce, financial services and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. At Porter, he will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy.
The company has also elevated Shubham Gupta to CTO. Gupta joined Porter in 2015 and has been involved in developing and managing its engineering operations as the business expanded.
His work has included modernising the company's technology infrastructure, improving security, managing technology-related costs and supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence.
As CTO, Gupta will oversee technology operations across Porter's existing businesses and newer ventures.
Commenting on the leadership changes, Uttam Digga, Co-founder and CEO of Porter, said the elevations recognised the contributions of Rathi and Gupta to the company's development.
Digga said both executives had played important roles in building the organisation and that their new responsibilities reflected the company's confidence in their leadership.
He also welcomed Jain's appointment, highlighting his experience in scaling businesses and its relevance to Porter's next phase of growth.
The changes bring new responsibilities across three key functions, with Rathi leading marketing and growth, Gupta overseeing technology and Jain managing financial strategy.
Porter has not disclosed any additional changes to its organisational structure or specific performance targets associated with the appointments.
