Brahma AI has appointed Shweta Rajpal Kohli as Senior Policy Advisor, bringing the former Peak XV Partners and Sequoia Capital India executive into an advisory role focused on artificial intelligence policy, governance and the company's engagement with the wider technology ecosystem.

Kohli brings more than two decades of experience spanning technology policy, public affairs, media and government engagement. Before joining Brahma AI as an advisor, she served as Chief Public Policy Officer at Peak XV Partners, formerly Sequoia Capital India and Southeast Asia, where her work included policy engagement involving startups and the technology sector.
She has also held leadership positions at Uber India, including Head of Public Policy for India and South Asia, and previously worked with Salesforce. Earlier in her career, Kohli spent several years as a journalist, including roles at NDTV, where she covered business, economic policy and technology.
Brahma AI said Kohli's experience across technology, policy and media would support the company as it navigates the policy environment surrounding AI.
