Wipro & Palo Alto Networks

Wipro has expanded its partnership with Palo Alto Networks to deliver AI-driven Managed Detection and Response services, strengthening its cybersecurity portfolio as enterprises face faster, complex and automated threats.

The new offering brings together Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XSIAM platform with Wipro's CyberShield managed security services capabilities. The companies said the combined solution is designed to modernise security operations using artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation to improve threat detection, reduce response times and simplify workflows for security teams.

The partnership reflects the growing demand for managed cyber defence services as organisations accelerate cloud adoption, digital transformation and AI-led business operations. As enterprise systems become more distributed, security teams are being asked to monitor larger volumes of signals across networks, endpoints, applications and cloud environments.

Wipro and Palo Alto Networks said the new service will help clients move from reactive security monitoring to more proactive cyber defence. The offering is expected to filter high volumes of alerts, separate critical signals from noise and allow analysts to focus on high-impact threats. This is becoming important as security operations centres face rising alert fatigue and shortage of cybersecurity professionals.

The service will be delivered through Wipro's Cyber Defense Centers, supported by the company's SOC GURU framework. The framework is aimed at transforming security operations by applying attack- and alert-agnostic analysis to detect and respond to threats across complex enterprise environments.

Wipro is expected to use its AI delivery platforms, including WEGA and WINGS. These platforms are part of Wipro Intelligence, the company's suite of AI-powered solutions focused on workflow orchestration, service transition and automation at scale.

For Palo Alto Networks, the partnership extends the reach of Cortex XSIAM, its extended security intelligence and automation management platform. The platform is designed to unify security data, automate incident response and help organisations reduce manual investigation cycles.

The collaboration builds on an existing relationship between the two companies across cloud, network and security transformation. The expanded alliance comes as enterprises increasingly seek integrated security solutions rather than disconnected tools that add operational complexity.

Cybersecurity has become a priority for boards and technology leaders as AI reshapes both defence and attack strategies. Threat actors are using automation and AI-assisted methods to scale phishing, malware, identity attacks and social engineering campaigns. In response, enterprises are investing in AI-enabled security platforms that can analyse patterns and detect anomalies.

The managed detection and response market has grown as organisations look for external expertise to manage advanced security operations. Many companies do not have the internal resources to operate 24-hour security monitoring at scale, making partnerships between technology service providers and cybersecurity platforms relevant.

For businesses, the development highlights how AI is becoming central to cybersecurity strategy. It is no longer limited to improving productivity or customer experience. AI is now being embedded into systems that protect critical infrastructure, customer data and enterprise operations.

For marketers and digital leaders, cyber resilience is also becoming closely linked to brand trust. A security incident can disrupt customer experiences, damage reputation and affect business continuity. As brands collect more customer data and rely on digital platforms for engagement, cybersecurity is becoming part of the broader customer experience ecosystem.

Wipro's latest partnership with Palo Alto Networks signals how technology services companies are repositioning themselves for the AI era. The focus is shifting from conventional managed services to intelligent, automated and outcome-led security operations.

As enterprises continue to adopt AI and cloud technologies, demand for integrated cyber defence is expected to grow. The Wipro-Palo Alto Networks offering is positioned to address that demand by combining AI platforms, managed services and security expertise for clients worldwide.
