Vodafone Business has partnered with Tech Mahindra to help organisations across the UK accelerate digital transformation and adopt technologies including artificial intelligence, automation, private 5G, Internet of Things, cloud and data.
The partnership brings together Vodafone Business' enterprise connectivity and digital infrastructure capabilities with Tech Mahindra's expertise in AI-led transformation, systems integration, digital engineering and managed services. The companies plan to jointly develop industry-focused propositions aimed at helping UK enterprises modernise technology environments and operations.
Under the agreement, Vodafone Business and Tech Mahindra will establish a structured framework for executive engagement, co-innovation and go-to-market collaboration. The two companies will identify opportunities where their respective capabilities can be combined to simplify enterprise operations and deliver measurable business outcomes.
AI will form one of the central components of the partnership. Alongside artificial intelligence and automation, the companies plan to use private 5G, IoT, cloud and data technologies to help customers improve operational resilience, accelerate digital adoption and explore new business models.
The collaboration builds on VodafoneThree's £11 billion investment in its UK network. The company has positioned the investment around creating secure, resilient and scalable digital infrastructure for businesses as organisations increase their dependence on connectivity and emerging technologies.
Tech Mahindra, meanwhile, will bring its global capabilities across AI, digital engineering, cloud and data to the partnership. The company is pursuing its "AI Delivered Right" strategy, which focuses on moving enterprise AI beyond experimentation towards deployment at scale and measurable business outcomes.

Harshul Asnani, President and Head of Europe Business at Tech Mahindra, said the partnership would combine the companies' strengths to help UK organisations accelerate AI-led transformation, modernise networks and operations, and develop more resilient digital ecosystems.
The agreement is also part of Vodafone Business' wider strategy to develop an ecosystem of specialist technology partners. Earlier in August, Vodafone Business announced a separate partnership with Tata Consultancy Services focused on AI, cloud, cybersecurity, network modernisation and other digital transformation areas for UK enterprises.
The Tech Mahindra partnership extends this approach as Vodafone Business looks to combine its infrastructure and enterprise services with specialist technology capabilities to support organisations through different stages of digital and AI transformation.
