AI powered brand intelligence platform Pipaltree.ai has appointed Ajay Ravindran as Vice President, Brand Intelligence, as the company strengthens its leadership team to accelerate enterprise adoption of its Actionable Brand Intelligence platform.
The appointment comes as organisations increasingly look to artificial intelligence to move beyond periodic brand research towards continuous, data driven decision making. Pipaltree.ai said Ravindran will play a key role in helping clients integrate always on brand intelligence into their marketing and business strategies while driving wider adoption of the platform across enterprises.
Ravindran brings more than two decades of experience spanning brand strategy, marketing, consumer research and communications. He joins Pipaltree.ai from FCB Ulka, where he served as National Planning Director. Prior to that, he was Head of Brand Marketing at Razorpay, leading brand building initiatives during a period of rapid growth. Over the course of his career, he has worked across both agency and client organisations, contributing to strategy for brands including Unilever, Amul, ITC Foods, Britannia, Flipkart, Dell, Dabur, Vodafone Idea, 3M and Tanishq. His work has also been recognised with multiple effectiveness awards for campaigns that translated consumer insights into measurable business outcomes.
At Pipaltree.ai, Ravindran will lead the company's client success function, helping organisations transition from traditional brand tracking studies conducted periodically to a model of continuous intelligence powered by artificial intelligence. His mandate includes building a team focused on educating enterprise clients, encouraging adoption and demonstrating how AI can transform brand management from retrospective measurement into real time decision support.
Speaking about his new role, Ravindran said the opportunity lies in using AI not merely to accelerate existing processes but to deepen the understanding of brands. He described the shift from episodic brand strategy to continuous, diagnostic and forward looking brand intelligence as a fundamental change in how organisations manage their brands.
Pipaltree.ai positions itself as an Actionable Brand Intelligence platform that combines AI driven customer conversations with enterprise data sources such as CRM systems, complaint logs, dealer feedback and service records. Rather than relying on conventional surveys and periodic reports, the platform continuously gathers customer feedback through conversational interfaces, synthesises insights and recommends actions that organisations can take to strengthen brand perception.
Commenting on the appointment, Pipaltree.ai Co-founder Navin Narayanan said introducing a new category such as Actionable Brand Intelligence requires more than product adoption. It involves helping organisations rethink how brands are managed and embedding continuous intelligence into everyday decision making. He added that Ravindran's experience across both agency and brand leadership roles makes him well positioned to lead that transformation.
The appointment reflects a broader shift within the marketing industry, where AI powered platforms are evolving from analytics tools into decision support systems. Companies are increasingly adopting technologies that continuously monitor customer conversations, identify emerging trends and provide real time recommendations instead of relying on annual brand health studies or static research reports. This transition is enabling marketing teams to respond more quickly to changing consumer expectations while improving collaboration across functions such as product development, customer service and communications.
As enterprise investment in AI continues to expand, platforms focused on brand intelligence are expected to play a larger role in helping organisations convert customer feedback into strategic action. Through Ravindran's appointment, Pipaltree.ai aims to strengthen its enterprise engagement capabilities while supporting wider adoption of AI driven brand intelligence across the marketing ecosystem.
