Czech health-tech company Kardi Ai is set to launch its AI-powered long-term cardiac monitoring technology in India on September 26, bringing a wearable system designed to help physicians detect intermittent heart rhythm abnormalities over extended periods.
The technology will make its official India debut in Hyderabad and combines a lightweight wearable ECG chest strap, mobile connectivity and AI-supported ECG analysis. The India launch is being facilitated by Hyderabad-based Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP, the Indian arm of Kardi Ai.
The system is designed to address a challenge associated with detecting irregular heart rhythms that may not appear during a conventional ECG or a shorter monitoring period. While a standard ECG captures cardiac activity over a brief period and Holter monitors are commonly used for longer recordings, Kardi Ai is designed to extend observation beyond conventional short-duration monitoring.
Patients can wear the ECG chest strap while carrying out everyday activities. The recorded ECG data is transmitted through a mobile platform, where AI-supported analysis assists physicians in reviewing the information and identifying potential rhythm abnormalities.
The company has positioned Kardi Ai as a prescription-grade medical technology rather than a consumer fitness wearable. It said the technology is intended to support doctors and does not replace clinical diagnosis or medical decision-making.
According to the company, the device has secured an MD-15 licence for import and sale in India. It is also CE marked and classified as an EU MDR Class IIa medical device. Its manufacturing and quality processes are aligned with ISO 13485, an international quality management standard for medical devices.
The India launch was announced by Dr Ramana Jagarlamudi, Director, International Operations and Authorised Representative, India, Kardi Ai, and Dr Raghavendra Rao, Scientific Adviser and Co-Founder of Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP, at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Hyderabad.
The September 26 launch programme is expected to bring together cardiologists, electrophysiologists, physicians, hospital leaders and healthcare technology professionals. Discussions will cover cardiac arrhythmias, long-term ECG monitoring, remote cardiac care and the role of AI-supported analysis in clinical practice.
Kardi Ai's entry into India comes as healthcare providers increasingly explore remote monitoring and AI-assisted clinical tools. By combining continuous wearable data with automated analysis, the company is seeking to give physicians a longer observation window for cardiac activity while keeping clinical interpretation and treatment decisions with healthcare professionals.
