CurvetAI Raises Rs 6 Crore

Pune-based artificial intelligence startup CurvetAI has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, as the company looks to expand its unified workspace for accessing and combining multiple AI models.

The funding round also saw participation from a group of angel investors. CurvetAI plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its engineering and technology infrastructure, expand its team and develop agent-based capabilities that can handle more complex workflows on behalf of users.

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, CurvetAI is building a visual AI workspace that brings text, image, audio and video models onto a single platform. Users can compare outputs from different models and combine capabilities within the same project instead of switching between separate AI products.

The platform is also designed to determine which underlying AI technology is better suited to a particular task. The company is targeting a growing challenge created by the expansion of specialised AI models, where users may have to manage multiple subscriptions and move between different applications to complete a single workflow.

CurvetAI initially began as a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts. The startup later shifted towards a unified workspace after its founders found that discovery alone still required users to leave the platform to access and use the tools they had identified.

The company said it has crossed 100,000 monthly users globally, with India and the US emerging as its largest markets. It has also started generating revenue. Its user base includes individuals, teams and educational institutions.

CurvetAI is also working with AI model developers, providing them with a distribution channel to reach users, receive feedback and understand how their products are being used. The startup has collaborations with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba and is working with educational institutions across India.

Dubey, CurvetAI's co-founder and CEO, has previously worked at Infosys, Microsoft and Google. Gupta, co-founder and CTO, previously worked at Samsung and leads the startup's engineering and technology infrastructure.

With the latest funding, CurvetAI plans to move further into agent-based AI. The company is looking to develop capabilities that can combine different models and tools to execute multi-step tasks with greater autonomy, expanding the platform beyond model discovery and comparison towards broader AI-powered workflows.
