Adobe and NVIDIA Expand AI Partnership

Adobe and NVIDIA have expanded their collaboration to accelerate AI-powered creative production, video processing and personalised customer experiences, with new optimisations across Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge.

Announced on October 19, 2026, the expanded partnership focuses on combining NVIDIA's accelerated computing infrastructure and AI models with Adobe's creative and marketing applications. The companies aim to improve processing speeds and support agentic AI workflows across image editing, video production, 3D design and enterprise marketing.

The development builds on a strategic partnership announced in March, which brought together Adobe's creative technology and NVIDIA's computing capabilities to support content production and marketing operations.

As part of the latest collaboration, Adobe is optimising Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform. According to the companies, the integration can deliver up to twice the performance for selected AI processing, editing, colour correction and effects workflows.

In Photoshop, GPU-accelerated compositing is intended to improve responsiveness when using features such as the Remove Tool, Gaussian Blur and Light Leaks.

Premiere will use NVIDIA's hardware acceleration to support video playback, rendering and AI-powered features, including Enhance Speech and Object Mask. Substance 3D Painter will also benefit from faster processing during texture creation.

Deepa Subramaniam, Vice President, Product Marketing, Creative Professionals at Adobe, said increasingly complex creative projects require greater computing performance.

“Creative workflows are more multimodal than ever,” Subramaniam said, referring to projects that combine images, video, audio, motion and 3D content.

The partnership also extends to Adobe Frame.io, where NVIDIA's computing technology will be used to accelerate cloud-based video processing and content discovery.

Early performance results shared by the companies indicate approximately five times faster embedding generation, a fourfold to fivefold improvement in P95 processing latency and an approximately 80% reduction in search proxy size for selected workloads.

These improvements are intended to make uploaded media searchable sooner and support production teams managing large content libraries.

Jason Paul, Vice President, Local AI at NVIDIA, said AI agents were enabling more advanced workflows within Adobe applications, with RTX Spark providing additional processing capacity.

Beyond creative production, the companies are expanding their collaboration into enterprise customer engagement through Adobe Brand Concierge.

The platform has been optimised using NVIDIA Nemotron open models to support personalised conversational experiences based on organisational information and content.

NVIDIA has also selected Brand Concierge to provide contextual customer interactions on its website. Adobe said the Nemotron-optimised version would become available to enterprise customers later in 2026.

The companies plan to demonstrate their latest developments at Adobe MAX, scheduled for November 10 to 12.

The announcement outlines further integration between creative software, accelerated computing and AI-powered customer engagement, although the reported performance improvements relate to selected workloads rather than all users or applications.
