Jennifer Hewlette, Chief Marketing Officer, Skan AI

Enterprise AI company Skan AI has appointed Jennifer Hewlette as its first Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company looks to expand its positioning and go-to-market strategy around agentic AI and process intelligence.

In her new role, Hewlette will lead Skan AI's marketing strategy as the company works with enterprises to provide AI systems with operational context around how work is performed. She is also building out the company's marketing function across areas including product marketing, customer marketing, partner marketing, communications and growth.

Hewlette joins Skan AI with more than three decades of experience across enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, cloud, customer experience, product marketing and go-to-market strategy.

Prior to joining Skan AI, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Apollo GraphQL, where she led marketing as the company operated across application development, APIs and AI. She has also advised growth-stage companies on go-to-market strategy, marketing, AI adoption, scaling and leadership.

Earlier, Hewlette spent nearly three years at DataRobot, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Executive. Her responsibilities included global brand marketing, demand generation, product marketing, go-to-market enablement, analyst relations, media engagement and strategic partnerships.

Before DataRobot, Hewlette spent more than 12 years at Cisco in several senior marketing roles spanning global customer experience, cloud and service provider marketing, strategic partnerships, alliances and channel go-to-market. Her earlier career also includes roles at Fenestrae, Click Commerce and other technology and media businesses.

The appointment comes shortly after Skan AI announced a $63 million Series C funding round in August, co-led by Cathay Innovation and Dell Technologies Capital. The company said the funding would support further development and expansion of its enterprise AI platform.

Skan AI focuses on providing operational context to enterprise AI systems by observing how work is carried out across organisations. Its platform is designed to capture information from real-world workflows that may not be available through conventional process documentation, allowing AI agents to operate with greater understanding of enterprise processes.

The company works with organisations in regulated industries, including financial services. Skan AI co-founder and CEO Avinash Misra said seven of the 10 largest US banks are among the enterprises using its technology.

Hewlette's appointment adds dedicated marketing leadership as Skan AI continues to develop its enterprise AI proposition and expand the role of operational context in deploying AI agents across complex business workflows.
