Promit Sanyal, Head of Marketing, Reva.AI

Reva.AI has appointed Promit Sanyal as Head of Marketing, bringing in a technology marketing executive with experience across cybersecurity, SaaS, product marketing, brand building, alliances and go-to-market strategy.

The appointment comes as Reva.AI builds its presence in AI security and access control for enterprises operating with increasingly autonomous AI systems. The company said Sanyal will play a role in sharpening its brand and product narrative and taking its Intent and Behavior-Based Access Control, or IBAC, proposition to market.

Sanyal confirmed the appointment in a LinkedIn post, describing cybersecurity as one of the factors behind his decision to join the company. He also highlighted Reva.AI's founding team and their previous experience in identity security as another reason for taking up the role.

Before joining Reva.AI, Sanyal served as Head of Marketing at KNOLSKAPE, an experiential learning and development SaaS company. His responsibilities included brand development, marketing-attributed growth, executive thought leadership and CXO-focused programmes. He also led a global sales development representative team focused on pipeline and deal growth.

Earlier, Sanyal spent around eight years at Moonraft Innovation Labs, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Alliances. His work included building and scaling the marketing function, supporting the company's positioning as a digital experience business and contributing to marketing activities around its acquisition by UST. He also worked on strategic alliance channels with technology companies including Adobe and Acquia.

His previous experience includes a stint at Wipro, where he led global marketing for the company's security business, as well as product marketing roles at CustomerXPs Software and Subex. His career also includes sales and marketing experience at JSW Steel.

Reva.AI describes itself as a unified access control and AI security platform designed for agentic and cloud-native environments. Its technology is focused on managing access across human, machine and AI identities through capabilities including AI workload discovery, behavioural analytics, policy governance and runtime enforcement.

The company is positioning IBAC around inspecting and controlling actions at runtime as AI agents gain greater autonomy inside enterprise environments. Reva.AI has said organisations need security models capable of evaluating not only who or what has access to a system, but also the intent and behaviour associated with actions being performed.

Sanyal's appointment places marketing leadership around that proposition as the company works to expand its brand and product positioning in the emerging enterprise AI security market.
