Rajat Vohra

Redington Limited has formally announced that Rajat Vohra will take charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Redington India, beginning July 1, 2025. The appointment marks a strategic leadership transition for the technology solutions provider as it continues to focus on digital transformation and expanding its enterprise offerings.

With nearly three decades of professional experience, Vohra has held leadership roles at several technology and consulting companies, including HCL Technologies and Hewlett Packard. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Redington’s India Business. Vohra has been credited with building strong partner relationships and accelerating the adoption of modern digital technologies across the company’s distribution network.

As Redington prepares to deepen its presence in emerging technology areas, Vohra’s appointment is expected to reinforce its position in IT distribution, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation. He has played a pivotal role in driving Redington’s digital-first approach, including the integration of automation, analytics, and AI tools into business operations.

Company officials noted that Vohra’s promotion reflects Redington’s emphasis on leadership continuity and operational stability during a time of fast-changing market dynamics. With India being one of the company’s key growth markets, his role will include scaling technology adoption among partners and enhancing digital supply chain efficiencies.

Industry analysts see this leadership change as part of a broader trend where companies are aligning executive roles with future-ready priorities, including digital commerce, platform integration, and customer experience optimization.

Vohra will lead Redington India’s strategy execution, customer engagements, and innovation roadmap. According to company insiders, he is also expected to lead initiatives focused on expanding Redington’s role in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through digital enablement and value-added services.

The transition comes as Redington aims to capitalize on India’s growing demand for cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and as-a-service business models. The company has stated that it intends to invest more in automation, partner training, and AI-powered business platforms under Vohra’s leadership.

His appointment will also see continued emphasis on strengthening the partner ecosystem, improving delivery timelines, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Redington’s long-term vision includes building a resilient, tech-forward distribution model that can adapt to global supply chain shifts and increasing digitization.

Redington, headquartered in Chennai, has been a significant player in India’s IT channel ecosystem, distributing products and solutions from over 290 brands through a vast partner network. With the appointment of Vohra, the company signals its intent to drive innovation while maintaining a sharp focus on execution and market responsiveness.

The leadership change will take effect from the beginning of July 2025.
