Flipkart-Backed TravClan Raises $5 Million for

TravClan, a business-to-business travel technology platform, has raised $5 million in funding from Flipkart and August One, alongside debt financing from Trifecta Capital, to expand its global supplier network and strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities.

Announced on October 22, 2026, the funding will support investments in technology, international travel inventory and destination operations across key markets. The company also plans to enhance its AI-powered booking infrastructure and expand its services for travel businesses.

With the latest investment, TravClan's total funding has exceeded $11 million. Its investors include Leo Capital, The Ventures, Hashed, August One, Flipkart and several angel investors.

TravClan operates a technology platform that enables travel agents and businesses to manage international bookings through an integrated system. Its services cover flight and hotel reservations, activities, itinerary planning, pricing, payments, customer communication and destination support.

The company contracts directly with hotels and activity providers and operates ground teams across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and India. This network allows travel businesses to access inventory, manage bookings and coordinate services without relying on multiple disconnected systems.

A key focus of the company's technology development is the use of AI to simplify complex travel planning. TravClan said its platform enables travel agents to create, price and modify international itineraries in minutes, including when customers request changes to travel dates, hotels or other arrangements.

Arun Bagaria, Co-founder and CEO of TravClan, said the company initially focused on solving operational challenges faced by independent travel agents before expanding into supply partnerships, technology and destination services.

“The next generation of travel software will not just help sellers search faster. It will increasingly execute work for them,” Bagaria said.

The company currently serves more than 15,000 travel agents across India and processes over $100 million in annual travel sales. Approximately 40% of its business originates from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, according to company figures.

Flipkart had earlier announced a minority investment in TravClan to strengthen international holiday offerings across Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel. The partnership is intended to provide customers with access to a wider selection of international travel packages and destination services.

The latest funding will also support TravClan's efforts to serve larger travel businesses and platforms through its booking and fulfilment infrastructure.

Sahil Kukreja, Vice President at Trifecta Capital, said TravClan's business model focuses on developing direct supplier relationships while distributing travel services through agents in underserved markets.

The investment comes as travel technology companies increasingly incorporate AI into itinerary development, booking management and operational workflows.

TravClan has not disclosed its valuation following the funding round or provided a detailed timeline for the planned technology and international expansion.
