IMBODY

Global fitness and wellness technology brand IMBODY has entered the Indian market with the launch of Power S, an AI-guided strength training system that combines digital resistance, personalised workout guidance and connected fitness features.

The India debut brings the company's Smart Hardware + Digital Services ecosystem to the country as technology-led fitness products increasingly combine artificial intelligence with traditional workout equipment. Power S has been designed for use across homes, premium fitness clubs, hospitality properties and wellness destinations.

At the centre of the system is a 43-inch interactive smart fitness mirror paired with motorised digital resistance. Power S provides up to 260 lbs, or about 118 kg, of adjustable resistance, with adjustments available in 0.5 kg increments. The system uses smart adjustable training arms to support exercises including squats, rows, presses and hinge movements.

Power S also offers five intelligent training modes designed for different workout requirements. These include Standard, Eccentric, Constant, Elastic and Burnout modes. The system supports dual-user profiles, connected workout tracking and screen mirroring, while IMBODY says it does not require a monthly subscription.

Its AI layer is designed to personalise workout recommendations using information including a user's fitness goals, fitness level, body data and previous training history. The company's IAC intelligent training system is intended to provide users with guided training plans and adjust recommendations as their fitness journey progresses.

The system is also accompanied by connected health and fitness accessories, including a smart body scale and smart measuring tape. Together, the hardware and digital features are positioned as an integrated fitness environment rather than a standalone piece of gym equipment.

Anuranjan Awasthi, CEO and Managing Director of IMBODY India, said the company's ambition is to make fitness a more natural part of everyday life by combining intelligent technology, precision engineering and personalised guidance. He described India as one of the world's dynamic wellness markets.

Sanchay Dhingra, COO of IMBODY India, said the company is bringing together technology, science and personalised guidance to help consumers make more informed decisions about their health and make fitness more intuitive.

The India launch comes as connected fitness products increasingly incorporate AI for workout planning, personalisation and progress tracking. IMBODY's entry places Power S within this emerging segment, where companies are using software and intelligent resistance systems to consolidate multiple workout functions into connected equipment.

Power S is currently available in India through IMBODY's official website.
