Chloe Tambe has joined Extreme Networks as Director of Marketing, AI Transformation, taking on a role focused on integrating artificial intelligence into marketing operations and supporting the company's broader transformation initiatives.
In her new position, Tambe will work at the intersection of marketing and AI, with a focus on using emerging technologies to strengthen marketing processes, improve operational efficiency and support new approaches to customer engagement.
Tambe announced the move through a LinkedIn update, describing the appointment as an opportunity to help shape how AI can transform marketing. Her role comes as enterprise technology companies increasingly explore the use of generative and agentic AI across functions such as content creation, customer insights, campaign execution, personalisation and marketing operations.
Before joining Extreme Networks, Tambe spent more than six years at ServiceNow, where she held multiple marketing leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing, leading brand strategy and marketing initiatives for the enterprise software company.
During her tenure at ServiceNow, she also worked across areas including global campaigns, integrated marketing and brand development. Her experience spans marketing strategy, brand building, communications and technology-led transformation.
Prior to ServiceNow, Tambe worked with technology companies including Dell Technologies and VMware. Her career has involved marketing roles across the enterprise technology ecosystem, giving her experience in positioning and communicating technology products and services to business audiences.
Extreme Networks provides cloud-based networking solutions and works with enterprises across sectors including healthcare, education, manufacturing, government and hospitality. Its portfolio covers wired and wireless networking, network management, security and AI-powered capabilities designed to help organisations manage increasingly complex IT environments.
The appointment comes at a time when AI is becoming a larger part of both enterprise technology products and the marketing functions responsible for taking them to market. Companies are increasingly testing AI tools to automate repetitive processes, analyse customer and campaign data, generate content and assist marketing teams with decision-making.
For marketing organisations, the growing adoption of AI is also creating dedicated leadership roles focused on transformation rather than treating the technology as a standalone tool or experimental initiative.
Tambe's appointment places AI transformation directly within Extreme Networks' marketing leadership structure. Her role will focus on how the company applies AI across marketing while supporting the evolution of its processes and capabilities as the technology becomes more deeply integrated into enterprise operations.
