Dell Technologies has expanded its commercial computing portfolio in India with the launch of new Dell Pro laptops and Dell Pro Precision workstations, targeting businesses looking to run artificial intelligence workloads across personal devices and enterprise computing environments.
The products were showcased at Dell Technologies Forum 2026 in Mumbai on September 2. The new portfolio includes Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 commercial PCs, alongside Dell Pro Precision 9 tower workstations and the Dell Pro Precision 7 R1 rack workstation.
Dell is positioning the devices around a hybrid approach to enterprise AI, where some workloads can be processed directly on PCs and workstations while others continue to run through cloud and data centre infrastructure.
The Dell Pro laptop portfolio supports Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, depending on the model and configuration. Dell said the systems are designed to support on-device AI capabilities and Copilot+ PC features.
The Dell Pro 7 is available in 13-inch and 14-inch configurations, including laptop and 2-in-1 formats. Select models offer OLED displays, cameras of up to 8MP and mini-LED backlit keyboards. Dell Pro 5 is offered in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, while Dell Pro 3 is also available in 14-inch and 16-inch form factors.
Alongside the AI PC range, Dell has introduced its Pro Precision 9 Series for more compute-intensive professional workloads. The T2, T4 and T6 tower workstations are aimed at applications including AI development and training, simulation, rendering, engineering and media production.
Depending on the configuration, the systems can be equipped with Intel Xeon 600 Series processors and Nvidia RTX PRO Blackwell graphics. The higher-end Dell Pro Precision 9 T6 can support multiple professional GPUs and expanded memory and storage configurations.
Dell has also introduced the Pro Precision 7 R1, a 1U rack workstation designed for centralised computing and remote access. It can be configured with Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition graphics and is aimed at professionals handling demanding engineering, creative and data workloads.
The wider commercial portfolio introduced in Mumbai also includes enterprise monitors and a 4K webcam with AI-powered features such as auto-framing and face tracking.
The India launch reflects Dell's broader push to position AI-capable computing across different levels of enterprise infrastructure, from employee PCs running local AI applications to high-performance workstations designed for substantially heavier AI workloads.
